Notes and Queries

Somewhere in my previous number of this Toy Theatre Web Magazine I told you that most of my theatres were never built. Nor are they cut out of their sheets.
I make copies of them by scanning them in my computer. Then I color them and then they are built as pictures.

One day I may make a virtual Toy Theatre museum, where all my theatres are displayed in spacious, albeit virtual exhibition rooms and where the plays are performed at will. Each in their own theatre.

Of course there will be a reading room where one can read through old numbers of this magazine and a print room where rare sheets are on display and can be printed to order.
Lovely, and all this on CD Rom.

From your reactions I found that I am not the only one who has some space problem and is unable to put all his theatres on display.

There were people who built scenes into some 3-Dimensional pictures, like those decoupage prints you see these days, and hung that on there walls.
Others tried the same thing like me and some did ask how to get the "Diorama-Look" into those flat computer pictures.

In the next pages I will try to explain how I do this.
